The Posture Aid / Clavicle Splint is designed to help pull the shoulders back and straighten the back. The splint is made with two sturdy shoulder straps that come together at a sturdy two ply back panel. the shoulder straps are adjustable with a Velcro(TM) closure system. The area over the shoulders are padded with soft foam covered in a plush cotton material.  This thing is terrible January 2, 2009
While it does pull the shoulders back, it pinches under the armpit making it extremely uncomfortable to put your arms down at your side. Also, the velcro used to hold the thing in place are only at the very end of the strap which comes from the back to the front. It would be much better if this was velcro down the whole strap.

DO NOT BUY ANY OF THOSE EXPENSIVE BACK BRACES OUT THERE! Instead buy this one! It's surprisingly comfortable (if worn with a shirt underneath)and pulls back your shoulders for those of us that have poor posture. Came in a very timely manner. THANK YOU!

The posture brace does the trick. It pull your shoulders back and helps to straighten your back.
