This natural oral dietary supplement comes in a soft gel capsule form. Cystoprotek is made with anti-inflammatory properties glucosamine, quercetin and rutin to help reduce bladder damage and pain, and glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronate sodium help replenish the damaged glycosaminoglycan (GAG) protective layer in the bladder. Chondroitin sulfate is one of the main components of cartilage and muscosa layers, forming the connecive tissue that holds muscles, nerves, and blood vessels together. Sodium hyaluronate is another component of protective tissue, including the GAG layer of the bladder, and is essential in the rebuilding process. Extracted from the saphora plant, rutin is a non-acidic natural flavonoid that adds additional anti-inflammatory qualities and liberated quercetin in the intestine, making absorption easier. CystoProtek is not a cure for IC. At this time, there is no known cure for the condition. Additionally, it is important to understand that CystoProtek is not an analgesic. It may take three to four months to offer a relief of symptoms. In clinical study Cystoprotek was well tolerated by patients ingesting 4-6 softgel capsules per day for 4-6 months.

I tell you when I went to the Dr and he told me I had this IC condition and told me that I would have to take this for the rest of my life I was a little sceptical on whether it would do anything for my condtion that I have suffered with for so long, well it was like a miracle, after about a week of taking this, I actually slept for about 5 hours before I had to get up at night...this was the first time in I don't know how long I have been about to sleep formore than and hour at a time! And the pain in my bladder had subsided also! GREAT STUFF!

CystoProtek is a very good product and is helping me to heal my entire urinary tract. I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of pain relief and the re-building of the lining of their urinary tract. It does not prevent kidney stones, but helps to heal where the stones scratch inside the kidneys thru the bladder where the stones scratches. I have also learned that sorbic acid will dissolve the stones wherever they are in the tract. Mine look like stickers that we in West Texas call goatheads.

I was recently diagnosed with IC, I thought I'd had recurring UTI's for a few years. My symptoms were pelvic pain, frequent and little urination, with a lot of urgency. My doctor first prescribed me Elmiron, which I can not afford, and then an anti-depressant for chronic pain, which I chose not to go on- because I didn't feel like I was in chronic pain enough to take it to that level. This product claimed to actually treat the problem- the inflammation of the bladder. I have been using this for about 5 months, and I am very satisfied. I still have slight flares, but it is basically a drastic difference from what I was having. Changing my diet a bit and taking these pills has made it like a I almost don't have this disease anymore. The best part is that it is all natural-- AND not $1,000 every 3 months like Elmiron if you don't have health insurance. Try it!

THIS PRODUCT IS AWESOME!!!!! I USED TO HAVE CONSTANT PAIN WITH MY BLADDER SYNDROME, BUT NOT ANYMORE. THIS PRODUCT ACTUALLY WORKED FOR ME RIGHT AWAY AFTER ABOUT A WEEK. I STARTED A NEW DIET AND STARTED TAKING THESE PILLS AND I AM SYMPTOM FREE FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND A HALF NOW. MY PAIN WAS TO THE POINT TO WHERE I COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. I PRAYED ABOUT IT AND FINALLY GOT MY ANSWER. I HAVE HAD SURGERY TWICE THAT LASTED ABOUT TWO MONTHS WITH NO SYMPTOMS AND THEY JUST CAME RIGHT BACK. I HAVE HAD THIS FOR ABOUT FIVE YEARS. IT WAS CUTTING IN TO MY WORK ETHIC, I WAS IN THE BATHROOM ALL THE TIME. I CRIED AT HOME BECAUSE IT HURT SO MUCH. BUT THIS PRODUCT ABSOLUTELY WORKS. IT IS GREAT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR RELIEF FROM I.C.!!!!!
