Came with LG drivers; Works like a charm September 14, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Item delivered by BargainCell 5 days EARLIER than expected date; came with WinXP drivers for the cable for LG cellphones. [free BitPim software, available on the net (search for: bitpim)]. Cable, drivers, & program are just what I needed to manage my Verizon VX9100 env2. Very pleased!
Cable OK, software worthless July 25, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Inexpensive cable works fine. Software is only for Motorola phones, so it doesn't work for my LG.
MICRO USB Cable July 9, 2008 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
Well, there's not much to say about this cable. After all, it's only a cable. These are used by devices which incorporate the MICRO USB port/plug/cable/whatever-you-want-to-call-it format.
For me, it's used with the LG VX9100 and it works fine. It does what it's supposed to do. I can transfer files to and from the phone(using BitPim) or directly to the memory card when it's in the phone. It also charges!
The disk contains drivers for Motorola phones. Which makes sense, since the cable has a sticker on the plug "For MOT V8". So basically it's just "re-branded" or redirected towards LG users. For LG drivers, Google is you friend.
The cable does not have a preference for brands, phone colors, and probably does not care which device or phone you own. After all, it's only a cable!
