Product Description
Made of heavy gauge steel, the powder coated Vario adjusts in both length (121 - 147) and height (47 - 57) to accommodate any size hammock. This telescoping adjustment eliminates the need for unsightly changes at each end. If an extra long hammock is used, we can also provide an extension adapter, increasing the overall hanging length up to 180. Threaded hand knobs secure all adjustments to complete the rigid hammock stand.

Wow! what a surprise. This stand is made very well and went together easily. I was amazed at it's weight. I didn't think it would be that heavy. We definitely got our monies worth. My husband was happy that it had adjustments so we could use different hammocks with it. Our son loves laying around on the hammock and I know he's safe.

Item arrived on time and in excellent condition however, I had to do some drilling on two of the pre-drilled holes because the screws would not thread properly. It was a minor repair but for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to do it. Quality control good be a bit better at the factory.
The stand is great and works wonderfully.

This is a great product am really enjoying relaxing and reading and using the hammock I purchased in Nicaragua. It was easy to put together, but the only drawback I feel is that you can't swing a lot, but I am over that!

It's designed in Germany and mfgd in China. I'd say DEFINITELY locate and purchase the extension kit. I did. I have a large Guatemalan hammock that I've owned for years that's barely seen any use -- usually on camping trips. It finally occured to me to research and secure a hammock stand, and it's really delightful to be able to laze in the hammock in the shade of the house on summer afternoons. I wish I'd bought one of these years ago!

After assembling the stand I was very pleased with my decision to purchase this one. I also ordered an extension, thinking that for my Mayan family hammock I would need to make it longer. But to my surprise, the hammock fit perfectly without the extension, and because the height of the stand can be adjusted pretty high, you could put a longer hammock in it because of this. Very heavy steel, well enameled, excellent workmanship and very easy to assemble. ***** - Definitely a five star purchase.
