Other topical products require high maintenance and yet will only remove the tear stains temporarily causing it to return worse than before. Angels' Eyes starts working before the tear stains begin. Simply sprinkle daily on the pet food; after three months, reduce it to four times a week; after six months, reduce it further to twice a week. The pet's coat should be completely tear-stain free anywhere from three to five weeks. This does the trick! She loves the taste and we've seen no side effects. We now have a beautiful white face and sparkling eyes. This product does contain an antibiotic.
Best Solution for Teary Eyes January 7, 2009
Angel eyes is the best product that requires very little time for the teary eyes and eye stains in your "little buddy". Just sprinkle on their food and no more problems. I never, I repeat, never have to clean my two poodles' eyes because there is nothing to clean!!! I understand if the dog does not like it on their food you can put it in the water bowl and they never know the difference. For those out there that are old enough to remember: As Mikey would say, "Try it, you'll like it!" It is Man's Best Friend ~ Best Friend.

I have been using Angels' Eyes on my dog for the last few years. He is a mixed breed and very blonde. His coat is very long and silky. He is a registered therapy dog that goes to nursing homes, hospitals and even libraries so he HAS to be well groomed. Because his eyes tend to weep, the discoloration was disconcerting and made him look "dirty". I heard about Angels Eyes through my sister-in-law who has a Maltese. She swears by it so I gave it a try and am so glad that I did! Great stuff and will not harm your dog in any way.

It really does the trick on our two Shih-tzus. The brown stains below the eyes from drainage is gone, even if it took months. Patience and perseverance was the trick. Great stuff.
