  Excellent Product, Quick Shipment December 21, 2008
I purchased this Optima Battery at the lowest price I could find on the internet, and received it in only three days. Upon arrival it was in perfect condition and after installation (which was extremely easy) I noticed my car had quicker, more powerful cranking starts. After having my stock battery replaced under warranty, I still purchased this product for peace of mind. Nothing like a cold 6 pack! December 15, 2008
This is the third Optima battery that i have used. The first was in a 2001 Ford Exploder. I had 4 auxiliary driving and fog lights (not the wimpy 55 watt halogens, but 150 watt aircraft sealed beams!), they pulled over 40 amps when they were all on. Plus, I had LOTS of Amateur Radio gear in the car and this was the main reason that I bought it, My OEM battery was running down a lot so I bought a "Yellow Top" replacement and never looked back. The second is a battery I use for portable operations with my radio gear in the field. It's a HUGE one. I have had it for over 5 years now without a hitch.
This one (Red Top size 35) was bought for my 2005 Infinity G35 MT6 Sport Sedan. The OEM battery lasted 3 years and just went dead almost over night. This red top was the perfect replacement. They don't "out gas", they are vibration proof, and can be used in ANY position. It weighs LESS than the OEM battery and has MORE CCA and minutes of reserve. I got the red instead of the yellow this time because I don't have but one radio in this car and I wanted lots of Starting amps. The red top is the best battery PERIOD!.

I installed this on an 01 Subaru Legacy with no problems, it was just a little smaller. It arrived just fine, with no damage. I have had a different optima battery in a project car for over 5 years now with no issues. These batteries are expensive, but I think they are worth it. It is pretty rare when a battery goes bad at a convenient time. If I have any problems down the road, I will definitely add to the review.

I was a little weary of buying this online with the other reviews of broken boxes/batteries. I went ahead and ordered it anyway, knowing that Amazon will not accept returns on this item (if the box is damaged, it's the delivery company's fault anyways).
I got my battery through UPS today, and it looks perfect. The box had it's usual wear, it did travel from KY to KS, but no problems at all.
It was exactly what I wanted, for cheaper than anywhere local could get for me.

No one else could come close to shipping almost 40 pounds for this price. Great product from a great service!
