Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Add some extra horsepower to your fuel-injected engine with one of these K&N Filtercharger Injection Performance Kits. They replace your engine's stock air cleaner or airbox with a low-restriction K&N filter assembly that increases airflow to your engine. And as we all learned in Hot Rod 101, more air means more power--up to 19 more horsepower. Plus, the filters can be covered by up to 1/8 in. of debris before air restriction makes cleaning necessary. The kits include an air filter assembly, a plenum (where applicable), mounting hardware, and instructions.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Horsepower can be obtained for cheaper, but you get what you pay for   July 30, 2008
I installed this item recently, it was pretty straight forward install and took about 45 minutes to an hour. You can get the same results HP and TRQ wise by buying a CAI on ebay and putting a K+N filter on it, however I personally like the design of keeping the filter visable on the top of the engine bay (much easier to replace to clean than removing the ebay intake) The gains are very slim but noticable (1-2mpg and about 5hp)
It's worth trying out, and K+N's customer service is top notch. mine was missing 2 parts and they overnighted it to me at no charge. I've never experienced such awesomeness from a company. I made my friends get this product for their truck / cars and they are satisfied as well.
Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

5 out of 5 stars Cold Air Intake   June 20, 2008
Installation was straightforward (exception 1 step) but it takes a little while. Definitely worth it though. Bought it for gas milage mainly. First tank i got 19 mpg in the city compared to 16. Went down after a few months to around 1-2 mpg. Might be my driving habits though.
It makes a cool sound when you start your car, like a high performance car. It goes really well with a dual exhaust system because of the increase in airflow and in turn performance and gas milage. Its easy to replace the filter (although they are really high, get the cleaning kit from K&N) and looks cool in the engine. Don't expect alot of performance out of it, its not a supercharger. I saw a very modest gain in throttle if at all. Get it for gas milage because of gas prices! (But be easy on the pedal, it will also USE alot more gas)
