The Westin?s 1-piece Sportsman Black Grille Guard provides customized front-end protection for the headlight and grille areas. Designed to contour the lines of the vehicle while providing an easy, hassle free installation with no drilling required. Mounting brackets utilize existing holes in the vehicle frame for superior strength with the lowest vibration. Made of heavy duty 1-1/2-in steel tubing. Pre-drilled holes accommodate most auxiliary light styles (lights not included). Includes welded hood guard. Removable headlight guards for easy headlamp access. Tough black powdercoat finish protected by 5-year warranty. Application Notes (if applicable): 1) On models with tow hooks, some modification of lower bumper fascia is necessary. 2) Must have tow hooks. 3) Cutting of air dam is necessary to complete installation. 4) Bumper cover must be removed to install mount brackets. Replacement fasteners are provided to re-attach cover. 5) Vehicle's grille must be removed to install mount brackets. Easy to remove and snaps back into place. 6) Bumper filler panel must be removed to complete installation. 7) On 1998 models, enlarging the vehicle's frame hole is rerequired using 1/2-inch drill bit. 8) On models with underbody shiel, it must be removed or modified to complete installation. 9) Access to tow hooks is limited after installation. 10) Minor cutting of air dam is required on vehicles without tow hooks. 11) Tow hooks must be removed.
