Ridiculous Price December 31, 2008 Yes, this is a good stroller, but the price being asked for it is ridiculous. I have one and have been happy with it, but there is no way that it is worth $300, especially in this economy. It retailed for around $125 (I paid $115) and I see them occasionally on e-bay for under $100. Do yourself a favor and if you really want one of these do not pay the +$300 they are asking and just shop around. There are also plenty of really good tandem strollers from other manufacturers for sale here on Amazon that are much more reasonable in price.
thought it would be better December 28, 2008 When I bought this stroller I was expecting good things. It looks nice and Fisher Price is usually a great name. (for toys, maybe not strollers)
I was surprised at how many pieces there were and assembly was a bit time consuming. Once it was together it looked nice like in the store so we were excited again.
However, after loading our little one's inside we found that steering was quite difficult. The stroller pushes nice when going straight, but steering is a different story.
The handlebar sticks out far from the rest of the frame which makes it feel like it isn't so sturdy. There is a lot of "up and down play" in the handlebar and that concerns me.
I think the weight is a bit much too. I expect a double stroller to be a little heavy, but my wife can barely get it in and out of the minivan which is not typical.
Overall, I'd say it okay at best. Perhaps Fisher Price should stick to toys.
Best stroller ever! October 3, 2008 I bought one of these for my two kids, a 2yr old and 6mo old. It's more than perfect for them! My 2yr old daughter hates sitting in strollers, but now that she gets to choose if she wants to sit or stand we can't keep her out of it! Our son sits very comfortably in the front seat, and most times will fall asleep there. It's great for shopping trips or walks... the large wheels are easy to maneuver in grass. For it's size when open, it's very light, easily maneuvered and compact when collapsed. I fit it easily in the trunk of our Altima... along with a baseball bag, diaper bag, and several other bulky items. The thing I may love best is the extra basket that you can extend if you're out shopping with just one kid. The thing my husband loves most is the tall push handle... he can easily push the stroller with no bending or hunching like he has to do with all our other strollers.
This may be the best kid gear purchase I've made to date! I would highly recommend this stroller to anyone!
Super great stroller!!!! September 21, 2008 I love this stoller. I only have one baby that is 16 months and it is very helpful to me. I love that if he is sleep and I need to run to the store I do not have to worry about a shopping cart because of the extendable basket. The stroller allows him to recline and for me to do my shopping with no problems. The ride is very smooth and the control is great. I love the way it has so much storage.
The only problem is if you do need to use it for a newborn and an older child, the older child can not sit down. The child can only stand. You have to recline the front seat to get the car seat onto the stroller. Which sort of sucks if you have a yound toddler that needs to be belted into that back seat. It is also a little heavy to lift in and out of your car.
AWSOME!! The best double stroller EVER!!! September 6, 2008 I have a 3yr and 1tr old and this is the best double stroller by far.. I read the reviews for the baby trend and the Jovvy and I even went to the stores and looked at the other 2.. It is a heavy stroller but it is built to last.. LOVE it and so do the kids!
